Hey there, I’m Super Davis Scott, often called The Zam Man, by those who know me in the professional skating world. My journey into this icy realm didn’t start the way you might expect. It all happened when I made a pivotal decision to step into a church at the age of 43. It’s funny how life can take you in directions you never imagined, right?
That decision led me to discover a community that was incredibly supportive, and not just in a spiritual sense. It was a catalyst for change in my life, opening doors I never knew existed. Among these new paths was my introduction to the world of skating—a realm filled with grace, excitement, and teamwork.
As I explored this new passion, I found not only a sport but a community that would push me to become better daily. This community of skaters, who I fondly call my coworkers, amazed me with their enthusiasm. They thrive on ice, each move a chance to support one another until perfection is achieved. It’s not just about pulling off that magical move, it’s about celebrating each other’s victories and learning together.
Now, a few weeks later, at 62, I find myself looking back at how this all started and feeling grateful. My experiences opened the door to not only participating in this sport but also creating something lasting—my brand, The Zam Man. This site is a celebration of that journey and the incredible people who helped me along the way.

Creating ‘The Zam Man’ brand was a natural progression of my journey in the skating world. As I immersed myself deeper into this community, it was clear that the love for creating the best ice to skate on wasn’t just a hobby—it was quickly becoming an integral part of my life.
The name ‘The Zam Man’ resonated with me and my values. It stood for more than just a passion for the ice; it became a symbol of dedication, precision, and a shared joy of creating freedom for the skaters to play, thrive and be their best. I wanted to build a brand that reflected the spirit of Ice skating world—a combination of technical expertise and heartfelt enthusiasm that every lover of ice skater embodies.
In developing ‘The Zam Man’ brand, I focused on harnessing the communal nature of the skating world. Every skater I’ve met treats this sport not merely as a pastime but as a lifestyle, filled with camaraderie and encouragement. It was essential to me that my brand represented this unique community dynamic—where everyone has a role, and each individual achievement is a collective celebration.
Being part of the world of mobile ice rinks presented its own unique challenges and opportunities, making the brand even more special. It allowed for incredible diversity in venues and environments, pushing us to innovate constantly and set higher standards.

One thing I’ve come to cherish about the skating world is its incredible sense of community. In my experience, skating brings out something profound in people. When someone perfects a tricky maneuver or finally nails that elusive landing, the excitement is contagious. Everyone shares in that victory as if it were their own. This spirit of togetherness makes skating so much more rewarding. What all their compition, you will find them celibration that skaters victory! The energy of positivity toward everyone around them is something I hope to gift the world with.
For us, the rink is a place where mutual support and encouragement flourish. Each skater I meet becomes a cocreator in this dynamic dance on ice, where everyone is both student and teacher. We’re always pushing each other to new heights, sharing tips, cheering on successes, and lending a hand when things don’t go as planned.
To me, this community feels like a family. We’re invariably giving back and lifting each other up. That’s why capturing and sharing these moments is so vital to what I do—a snapshot of what makes our skating family so unique and worth celebrating. And I am not even a skater, best I can do it get out on the ice and play, hold my girls hand and smile enjoying everyones joy around me on the ice.
